The Department :
The Department of Quranic studies was
established in 1991 at AUTE. Since
then, it has tried to use all
available learning resources and
academic staff to train competent
teachers of the Holy Quran. Up to now
140 graduates have received their B.A.
from this Department.

Undergraduate Programs :
In
undergraduate degrees, students should
take and pass a sum of 136 credits.
Beside general and eductional courses,
these include 20 basic courses on
history of the Holy Quran, Arabic
literature, theology, logic, history
of Islam, introductory commentary of
the Quran, sociology, psychology, as
well as 39 research courses on
interpreting Quranic stories,
reasoning in the Quran, Islamic
trainings, methodology of the Quran,
ideological Schools, etc.
