The Department :

Since its establishment in 1992, the Department has mainly focused its academic activities on research. Mechanical research activities include topics such as experimental and computational fluid dynamics, advanced heat transfer, renewable energies and thermal sciences. Regarding instructional activities, the Department has no undergraduate and graduate programs at present, but it will be planned for the near future. It just works as an aid to other technical departments in AUTE which require some courses on mechanical engineering.
