The
Department :
As the
first department established at AUTE
in 1989, the Department of mathematics
has trained over 350 students in pure
mathematics.
Undergraduate Courses :
In addition to training mathematics
teachers, the Department tries to
equip the students with scientific
ability necessary for promotion to
higher degrees of education and
research. Beside taking basic and
specialized courses in mathematics,
those students who plan to teach
mathematics in highschool should take
17 courses on methodology of teaching
mathematics.
