The Department : It goes without saying that agriculture is one of the main factors in socio–economic development of countries. Thus , training educated specialists in various fields of agriculture would lead to new scientific and research findings which, in turn, will increase agricultural products. Given this and the fact that AUTE is located in one of the agricultural centers of the country, it has tried to provide a valuable research sites including farms and gardens (500 hectare), hothouse, well-equiped laboratories specially in biotechnology and research staff. Though the Department has no undergraduate program at present, it is going to receive students in biotechnology at B. Sc. and H.D. (Higher Diploma).
