Department of Arabic Language
and
Literature at AUTE was established in
1992

Undergraduate Programs
:
In order
to receive a B.A–degree students
should take and pass 136 credits in
Arabic language and literature
including 19 credits on general
courses such as physical education,
English reading, Persian reading, … ;
117 credits on basic and specialized
courses such as histiory of Arabic
literature, prose and poetry, oral
production, the study of Quran,
reading the press, stylistics,
research methods, translation and
letter–writing.
Now, about 150 students are doing
their B.A. in two major fields :
Arabic Language and
Literature, and Teaching Arabic
Language.
